Luigi's Bistro History:
Luigi Scaffetta’s is our grandfather and is the name behind “Luigi’s”. Our family is from Vasto, Italy. Luigi grew up in Batavia, NY where his family owned and operated restaurants. Luigi Scaffetta carried on this tradition and opened one of the first Italian restaurants in Oklahoma in the town of Chickasha, OK in 1951 and later in Anadarko, OK.
 
His restaurants were always family owned and operated and we continue that tradition today. Grandsons and Restaurateurs Mike Johnson and Chef Jorge Chavira have crafted the concept of “Luigi’s Bistro”. Paying homage to our Italian-American family recipes which have been passed down from generation to generation. We have also added a few of our own family favorites to bring a culmination of our fresh first Italian cuisine from our family to yours. All of dishes are made from scratch and made to order. This allows our customers the ability to customize any order to their personal preference.

Luigi's family has revived his signature appetizers, pizzas, entrees and desserts to bring you fresh, homemade authentic Italian cuisine just like Momma use to make. You can visit either location in Newcastle, OK and Yukon/Mustang, OK for a taste of our family’s homemade Italian cuisine!
