Flora Bodega began as a collective booth at Paseo Farmers Market. Through the foundation of the Online Farmers Market, formed out of necessity during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Flora grew and morphed into a worker-owned food cooperative open daily at the corner of 30th Street & Walker Ave.
They prioritize sourcing products from local farmers and businesses. When not available locally, they seek out products from QTBIPOC+ owned small businesses that prioritize environmentally-friendly practices before looking elsewhere to stock our shelves.
SNAP supported, DUO discount applied to produce & food-producing plant and seed purchases. They've partnered with the OKC Freedge - a free to anyone community refrigerated pantry, accessible 24/7, receiving large food drops every Wednesday night.
Facilitating a free community recycling center by working with Pale Blue Plastics and Fertile Ground, and an ongoing collection drive for Homeless Alliance.
