Unique Spots in OKC

OKC has evolved into a city with a growing number of unique, locally owned places. Most people reference places to eat and drink (and there are A LOT to choose from), so I wanted to come up with a random collection of my favorite, unique spots to spend money and time!
Always Greener
4401 N Santa Fe Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73118 | 405-225-1853
Always Greener offers synthetic grass as a replacement for traditional landscaping but they also offer mats in custom creations or seasonally exclusive (think a grass "BOO" mat at Halloween). I've used them for creative gifts at Christmas, as client treats for new home gifts, and I've recently purchased a custom dog mat to use in my kitchen - super cute! Keep a watch on their Instagram for last minute deals and/or limited quantities of certain items! website
Splendid Beauty Bar
7206 N Western Avenue, Nichols Hills, OK 73116 | 405-810-5944
Splendid started as a spray tan salon, but I go there exclusively for blow outs. If you're like me and hate the maintenance of washing and styling your hair, Kristin or Hanna at Splendid are your new best friends. I go at least once a week and always leave feeling amazing! You can also purchase a package of blow outs - saves you money! website
Green Goodies
5840 N Classen Boulevard, #5, Oklahoma City, OK 73118 | 405-842-2288
I know it's a food place BUT we LOVE Green Goodies for their cupcake "cakes." Instead of a traditional cake for a party, they'll make you a cake made up of nothing but individual cupcakes! website
Bisby Candles
Available at many local retailers | 918-408-5291
Nicole started making candles in her home and it's evolved into a full-blown business! She has her candles all over the metro and even in Whole Foods, both here and outside of OKC! Inside tip: She can make you a scent and wrap it in your design. We use her candles, customized into a "LifeSquire Home" scent to gift our new clients! website
