01. What did you want to be when you were a kid?
You name it...pro basketball player, in the army, professional weed eater (after i first learned how to use the weed eater), missionary, carpenter.

02. What was your first job?
Dish boy at Western Sizzlin in Enid

03. What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to mow my yard in perfectly straight lines, play cards, basketball, ultimate frisbee, work with leather, make jewelry, and search for hidden treasures in junk piles.  But the best way to pass free time is to spend it with my best friend and wife Julie.

04. What's the best advice you've ever received?
Put God first, others second, and yourself last.

05. How long have you been in business and how did you get started?
Blue 7 has been in business since 2003. I worked for the previous owners for two years and then Julie and I purchased the business from them in 2006.

06. Why do you choose to operate your business in Oklahoma as opposed to somewhere else?
The nicest people in the world, low cost of living, clean air, little traffic...we could go on for ever.  We love Oklahoma!

07. Why do you think its important to keep it local?
Well that is a two way street. When you keep it local, every dollar you spend comes back to you in one way or another.
On the other hand I feel that local businesses have a responsibility to offer a product of excellence, a unique and special experience to the public.  This way everyone win.
