Black Lives Matter. We stand against racism, injustice, and violence but we realize that simply standing is not enough. We've been listening, learning, marching and using our platform to amplify Black-owned restaurants, retail and services as well as musicians, artists and other creatives with more intention than we have in the past. This is just a start. It's a small first step toward doing better. There's still so much work to be done and what we can promise is that we are committed to continuously seeking out actionable steps and learning about ways that we can invest in and help create real long-term change in our communities. We encourage anyone reading this to do the same. We must do better.

We know that there are plenty of lists that already exist out there, but many of you have been asking us for a list of local & independent Black-owned businesses that you can support. So, that's what we've been working on. This is by no means a complete list, but we do hope that you'll find it to be a helpful resource as you make decisions about where you'll spend your money.
