Boom Town Creamery is what happens when a scoop shop decides to do everything right. They make every flavor in small batches from scratch, from the base to the mix-ins, and they’re not kidding when they say everything. That brownie in your cone? Made in-house. That hot fudge? Same. You’ll taste it in flavors like Espresso Crunch featuring Elemental Coffee beans (OKC) or Carmelita Cookie Crumble with a bourbon caramel ribbon made with Same Old Moses Bourbon (Guthrie). They keep the case stocked with 24 flavors (at least four of them are dairy-free, all of them excellent). What started as a single shop in OKC’s Uptown 23rd District now has four locations and counting because this is the kind of ice cream that inspires loyalty. And maybe a little bit of an obsession.

Good to Know:
• Technically South OKC, practically Moore - let’s just say it’s perfectly placed for both. Whatever you call it, this is one of the more spacious Boom Town locations, ideal for families or group outings. Tucked into the Cross Timber Retail Center, it’s in a busy part of town, but once you step inside, it’s all good vibes and great ice cream. Expect all the same inventive flavors and seasonal specials you know and love.
• All four Boom Town locations offer frozen dog treats made with plain Greek yogurt as the base. Flavors include pup-approved combos like peanut butter & apple or banana & pumpkin.
