Boom Town Creamery is what happens when a scoop shop decides to do everything right. They make every flavor in small batches from scratch - from the base to the mix-ins—and they’re not kidding when they say everything. That brownie in your cone? Made in-house. That hot fudge? Same. You’ll taste it in flavors like Espresso Crunch featuring Elemental Coffee beans (OKC) or Carmelita Cookie Crumble with a bourbon caramel ribbon made with Same Old Moses Bourbon (Guthrie). They keep the case stocked with 24 flavors (four of them dairy-free, all of them excellent). Boom Town started as a single shop in OKC’s Uptown 23rd District and now has four locations and counting because this is the kind of ice cream that inspires loyalty. And maybe a little bit of an obsession. 

Good to Know:
• Located on the ground floor of the historic Skirvin Hotel in downtown OKC, this location is perfect for hotel guests and locals alike. While there’s no indoor seating, several covered tables sit on the sidewalk right outside the door providing a relaxed spot to enjoy your treat.
• The name "Boom Town Creamery" is no accident. While dreaming up the shop, owner Angela Muir was deep into the book Boom Town by Sam Anderson and totally hooked on OKC’s history. You’ll see the influence everywhere - from the logo to the design details.
