The Oklahoma Victory Dolls provides opportunities for women in the Oklahoma City metro area to participate in the challenging and hard hitting sport of flat track roller derby. OKVD develops, harbors and supports the caliber of athletes that have the ability to compete on a national level. We are proud members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), which provides each player the necessary standards for national and international competition. Furthermore, we are dedicated to providing community outreach through events, activities, and charitable sponsorship while creating a positive atmosphere that improves our members' individual athleticism, self-discipline, and character.

Who are the OKLAHOMA VICTORY DOLLS?

• Oklahoma City’s #1 ranked flat-track roller derby team

• Oklahoma City’s premier Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) member league

• The youngest league ever to be accepted to the WFTDA

• An all-inclusive group of women of all backgrounds raging in age from 18 to 45

• A registered Oklahoma Nonprofit group that donates a portion of the proceeds from each bout and raffle to a local charity and have recently filed to become a recognized 501c3 organization

The mission of the WFTDA is to promote and foster the sport of women’s flat-track roller derby by facilitating the development of athletic ability, sportswomanship, and goodwill among member leagues. The governing philosophy is, “by the skaters, for the skaters.” Women skaters are primary owners, managers, and operators of each member league and of the coalition. The operational tasks of the coalition are to set standards for rules, seasons, and safety, and to determine guidelines for the presentations of the national and international athletic competitions of member leagues. All member leagues have a voice in the decision making process, and agree to comply with the governing body’s policies.”

The Oklahoma Victory Dolls are extremely honored to be the youngest member league ever accepted into the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association. Only with hard work from the women of the league and help from experienced surrounding leagues were we able to accomplish this feat. We consider the member leagues of the WFTDA to be an elite group, the best in the world, and feel incredibly privileged by our association with the founders of modern-day roller derby.

We are a league that cares about our community. Our league members either patronize local businesses or are local business owners themselves. Being a member of Keep It Local OK helps solidify our commitment to local businesses and our sponsors.
