In North OKC, just a couple of miles from Quail Springs Mall, Neighborhood JAM sits in a part of the metro that’s constantly growing - surrounded by retail, offices, and neighborhoods. Opened in 2017 by the Hal Smith Restaurant Group, this is the original location and still serves as the flagship for the concept.

Inside, the space feels open and energetic without being overwhelming. High ceilings, pallet accents above the bar, and clean white subway tile create that familiar farmhouse-chic look, while the layout makes it easy to settle in whether you’re meeting a group or grabbing a quick breakfast during the week. There’s a steady rhythm here - it's very busy, but dialed in.

The menu sticks to what Neighborhood JAM does best. The “Okie Benny” (scratch biscuit, ham, poached eggs, cheddar, black pepper sausage gravy) and the “El Jefe” (corn tortillas, pulled pork, green chile hollandaise, pico, cotija, pepper jack, chives) are consistent standouts. You’ll also find avocado toast, pineapple bourbon pancakes, and “Excuse Our French” Toast made with challah, mascarpone, maple cream, and fresh fruit. On the savory side, "The Heap" (loaded hash browns topped with eggs, cheese, meat, avocado, pico, and chives) and candied bacon remain go-to orders. Coffee is taken seriously here too, their signature drink is the "Sam Elliott" latte with sarsaparilla syrup and sea salt, which adds something a little unexpected to the morning lineup.
