01. What did you want to be when you were a kid?
A salesman like my dad.
02. What was your first job?
First job was at Pizza Hut, one of the best jobs I ever had.
03. What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy doing yard work and laying by the pool or laying in the beach!
04. What's the best advice you've ever received?
Always be nice to everyone because you never know who you will be working for next.
05. How long have you been in business and how did you get started?
Kamber's has been in business since 1922. I answered an ad in the paper looking for a shipping clerk in 1974.
06. Why do you choose to operate your business in Oklahoma as opposed to somewhere else?
Oklahoma has always been my home and I love the people of Oklahoma.
07. Why do you think its important to keep it local?
We are a dying breed. There are not too many local businesses left. Local businesses give back to the community, more than a large chain.
08. What locally owned business (other than your own) could you not live without?
Bill Kamps Meat Market, where else are you going to find better meat.
09. Our Facebook fans want to know: What is it that sets you apart from the national chains and promotes loyal, repeat customers?
What sets us apart from others is that we give personal service to our customers. We also offer free gift wrap and monogramming thru out the year also.
10. Our Twitter followers want to know: What drives you to keep doing what you do?
Taking care of our customers needs is so rewarding and knowing we are carring on a family tradtion to future generations of customers.
