01. What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a singer or dancer when I was small like most little girls, then I wanted to be a psychologist.
02. What was your first job? I worked at the Bagel Shop making sandwiches and as a cashier.
03. What do you like to do in your free time? I spend time with my two men, my 3 yrs old and my husband. I also like to read, go to the movies, and hang out with my girls too!
04. What's the best advice you've ever received?
My dad has always told me to follow the golden rule in life, "Treat others as you would want to be treated". Its a good rule of thumb to live by I think in life. He also has told me "to do what I love and love what I do". I am happy to say that I am doing that each day!
05. How long have you been in business and how did you get started?
I have been in business one year now! I started baking out of my kitchen for friends and family. My organic know how and allergy friendly treats grew popular enough that I thought of making it into a business! Here I am today!
06. Why do you choose to operate your business in Oklahoma as opposed to somewhere else?
This is my home. This is where I grew up and want to raise my family. I have no desire to live anywhere else at this point in my life.
07. Why do you think its important to keep it local?
Its important to support small businesses for various reasons. I love that supporting local businesses keeps Oklahoma true to its grass roots.
08. What locally owned business (other than your own) could you not live without?
I sure love cozy date nights at Paseo Grill! The food is fabulous and the seating is quaint. Love it!
09. Our Facebook fans want to know: What is it that sets you apart from the national chains and promotes loyal, repeat customers?
We are organic, delicious,allergy friendly, and the staff is GREAT!!!
10. Our Twitter followers want to know: What drives you to keep doing what you do?
Cupcakes make everyone happy, making everyone happy, makes me happy! DUH!!!
