01. What did you want to be when you were a kid?
A professional dancer.
02. What was your first job?
Selling shoes at Journey's in Penn Square and teaching BMX racing clinics across the country (I did both things at the same time).
03. What do you like to do in your free time?
Spend time with my husband, our 5 chihuahuas and our family. Eating at the great local restaurants, working out, and spending weekends at Lake Texoma fishing.
04. What's the best advice you've ever received?
Those who fail to plan plan to fail!
05. How long have you been in business and how did you get started?
6 years this August 2010. I started looking at locations and wasn't having any luck until a salon space became available. I was able to take over the previous lease and get S Studio Salon & Day Spa up and going!
06. Why do you choose to operate your business in Oklahoma as opposed to somewhere else?
It's my always and forever home.
07. Why do you think its important to keep it local?
I know how hard I work and how much of my time is dedicated to keeping our doors open. It isn't easy to own a small business, so if you want to be supported locally you have to support locally! Plus we have some amazing local businesses! It's a win win.
08. What locally owned business (other than your own) could you not live without?

09. Our Facebook fans want to know: What is it that sets you apart from the national chains and promotes loyal, repeat customers?
We are truly dedicated to our guests. The total experience at S Studio Salon & Day Spa is high priority. We perform fantastic services, provide smiling faces and enjoy friendly conversation.
10. Our Twitter followers want to know: What drives you to keep doing what you do?
I can not imagine doing anything else. I love what I do, the people I am surrounded by, and getting to be creative every day. I thrive to live a full life doing what makes me happy!
